Free Thanksgiving Printable for Your Table
Leaves falling, crisp breezes blowing, the smell of pumpkin pie baking in the oven.... I love this time of year! I have created these free printable place cards for your thanksgiving day table. If you follow me on Instagram (@Life_Passionately) I posted a close of my watercolor painting of little fall leaves and acorns. I then brought those in to the computer to make the place cards.
Most importantly I added eight different bible verses pertaining to thanking God. I placed it on the back of the card so that as your guests sit at the table they can read the different verses. Even if you don't typically have "assigned seats" at your thanksgiving dinner. I really encourage you to use these. What a beautiful time of year to remember what we really need to be thankful for and maybe it will open the door for you to witness to a relative or friend.
There are two PDFs with four cards on each 8.5" x 11" sheet. So you can print as many as you need. For best results, I encourage you to use a slightly thicker paper. It doesn't have to be as thick as card stock (although that will work just fine) but thicker than just a plain sheet of computer paper so they will be sturdier when you fold them.
To print: Download the PDFs here and save them to your computer.
Go to file- print. When the print window pulls up it will look like this.
You will see the printer properties button highlighted. Click that and you will see this window.
In this screen shot, click the tab Paper/Quality and choose your print quality as good or best. Then click the advanced button that is highlighted in this picture. Click that and you will see the next window pop up.
You will see in the Advanced Options window for your printer you can choose to print borderless. This is important for the card to print out correctly.
I want to thank Carla for taking the beautiful pictures at the beginning of this post!
I would LOVE to see your thanksgiving day tables with the place cards on them. You can use the hashtag #LPThanksgiving2015. I will pick a few to repost to my instagram.
I hope you all have a beautiful thanksgiving day holiday!
